Mission Statement

The International Confederation of Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapists (ICCrPT) is an international physiotherapy organisation representing a unified body for physiotherapists with a special interest in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.

The confederation aims to promote excellence in the practice of cardiorespiratory physiotherapy internationally through adherence to standards and consistency of practice. It also aims to advance the scope of cardiorespiratory physiotherapy by facilitating and supporting evidence-based practice, knowledge exchange, education of future-ready physiotherapists, clinical specialisation, research and international collaboration.

The ICCrPT provides a platform where therapists with a common interest in cardiorespiratory health may meet, confer and promote these interests.
